I Wish I Knew How To Quit You

It’s been about 6 weeks since I arrived home from work one day to find an Amazon delivery waiting for me. Inside was a Destiny PS4 bundle, along with a copy of The Last Of Us Remastered. Being a PS Plus subscriber, I also had instant access to about 10 games that I’d been storing away since last year.

So out of all the games at my disposal over the past month, which one is my favourite? Well, that’s a tricky one to answer, since the only one I’ve played is Destiny. Despite it’s flaws and annoyances, I just can’t stop playing the damn thing, God help me.

Dragon Age II Retrospective

So we are just over one month away from the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, one of this year’s most hotly anticipated titles and really one of the only major releases not pushed back till the new year, which has meant that I have already gone back and recreated my perfect playthroughs for Origins and II and built the Thedas that I am ready to help defend as the Inquisitor in this new entry in the series. Wasteland 2 Review

It’s not often that I’ve had cause to review a Kickstarted game here on Zero1gaming, but with the crowd-funding movement becoming so prominent over recent years, there’s more than a few titles emerging from the site, so it’s about time I got on board.

Truth be told though, I’d have been all over today’s subject; Wasteland 2; like a tramp on chips whether it was kickstarted, big budget, indie-developed or even, gulp, taken over by EA!

Convenience vs Effort

Over this past weekend, as I was resting to recover from some sort of super-asthma, I experienced a rare and magical event.  I wanted to play a specific game, but was unable to.  Part of this was due to my inability to sit upright for more than half an hour without wheezing like… well, like an asthmatic.  But the root cause was that I was simply unable to find the bloody thing.  I will warn you now: this article wanders all over the place.  Is it a bare-bones review?  Is it an anecdote?  Is there even a point?  The answer to all of these questions is yes, but by jove do I take the scenic route.
