Need for Speed: Rivals
Well, my PS4 arrived just before midday last Friday. I promptly did not open it and went into work for a couple of hours, but when I got home, the packaging was torn asunder. Inside the large Amazon box was my PS4 and a copy of Need for Speed: Rivals (NFS:R). It was the only launch title that I could see me playing for more than just the campaign; I like playing FPS games such as Killzone, but I can’t stand playing them online, so once the single-player is done with, I’d likely never touch it again. Lego games are not exactly few and far between. For every major franchise of ‘Geekdom’ there is a Lego game; Lord of the Rings, Batman, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean all have Lego games, and now we can add the Marvel to the list, but with Lego Marvel Super Heroes creators Travellers’ Tales haven’t just given us a retelling of The Avengers, they have given us a story that covers nearly every corner of the Marvel universe, and managed to include more characters than you would ever have thought possible. FIFA 14 Review
Here we have it, another year, another football season, another FIFA. EA Sports’ yearly update to the franchise is out now on current gen consoles. For many this, as always, will be a no brainer purchase but for the first time in a while for the series faces a few questions. With FIFA 13 so highly praised as being the best football simulation ever, where does the game go this year and with the huge cloud of next-gen looming, is this just a stop gap or a truly worthy purchase?
