Activision Announces Guitar Hero Live

Activision has announced Guitar Hero Live, the latest game in the popular music franchise. The game is being developed by FreeStyleGames, who previously developed DJ Hero and DJ Hero 2. Guitar Hero Live will cost $99.99 and is due to release on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U in Autumn 2015.

A new controller has been revealed for the game, featuring two rows of three buttons. Confirmed artists include Ed Sheeran, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, The Lumineers, My Chemical Romance, The Black Keys, Skrillex and The War on Drugs.

The game now features a first-person perspective, which places you on stage looking at a crowd that will react in real-time to how you are performing. The new GHTV multiplayer mode allows players to challenge their friends.
