EA has announced Battlefield Hardline Premium, continuing the membership program that offers early access to four digital expansion packs and other features. Premium will fetch players back £39.99 and offers a bunch of gameplay perks. Here is what Premium members can expect:

  • 2 weeks early access to four story-themed digital expansion packs
  • Double-XP
  • Exclusive in-game missions
  • 12 Gold Battlepacks
  • Priority position in server queues
  • Unlocked Masks – These provide gameplay benefits
  • The Gun Bench – Players can use this to customise their weapons and track how many kills they’ve had with each.
  • Members-only tournaments and ladders
  • “Legendary Status”- Enables replayability of the progression system

The first expansion pack, titled Criminal Activity, tasks players with making a name for themselves by pullin off small-time crime jobs. The follow-up expansion, Robbery, will focus on taking out rivals. Both of these expansions are due to release in summer 2015. Getaway, which is due to release in Autumn, will immerse players “deeper in the heist.” The final expansion, titled Betrayal, will see players figuring out who’s selling them out.

Over 7 million people played Battlefield Hardline’s beta last month. EA recently announced that the title had gone gold, ahead of its release on March 17th in the US. Europe can expect the game on March 19th, whilst those in the UK have to wait till the 20th.
