When it releases for the Nintendo eShop next month, OlliOlli will be available as a cross-buy game on both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. This means that anyone who purchases a copy of OlliOlli on Wii U will also get a free copy of the game for 3DS, and vice versa. The second copy will unlock via the player’s Nintendo ID.
This is the first time a third-party Nintendo game has been available as a cross-buy product. Nintendo recently announced Mario vs Donkey Kong as its first cross-buy game.
OlliOlli will be available worldwide on March 5th. Those in the US can buy the game for $10, whilst those in Europe have to fork out £8/10 Euros. OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is due to release on PS4 and Vita next month.
