2K Games, Turtle Rock Studios and ESL has announced that they will be hosting an Evolve tournament during PAX East. The tournament will take place at the PAX East ESL Arena, and will include eight teams of professional eSports players and amateurs. The single elimination tournament will see teams face off in best of three matches. People will be able to watch the tournament live on Evolve’s Twitch channel on March 6th from 10am-7pm ET.
2K is putting a number of its iOS games on sale from December 23rd. The sale lasts from tomorrow until January 5th. It’s limited to games on the iOS App Store. Civilization Revolution 2 will be $8 down from $15 whilst XCOM: Enemy Within will be $7 down from $13. NHL 2K and NBA 2K15 will both be reduced 50% down to $4. The BioShock port will fetch you back $5 instead of the standard $11.
After XCOM: Enemy Unknown re-invigorated the XCOM franchise, many people considered The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, a fairly generic looking third-person shooter, to be as unnecessary as all the words hanging off of its title. Read more …
