Neil Druckmann, creative director of The Last of Us, has announced that the film adaptation will include some “big changes” from the game. In an interview with , Druckmann talked about the latest developments on the project, as well as how far along the script is:
“I just finished a second draft, and we did a table read with a bunch of actors,”
“Pretty faithful to the game. There are some big changes, but the tone and what the story’s trying to say is pretty faithful to the game.”
Do you like the idea of The Last of Us being a movie? I personally would rather have a mini-series. I think the developing relationship between Joel and Ellie needs more than 2-3 hours.
I think it’s safe to say that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the most anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive. It looks like the latest instalment will be rather beautiful. Since the teaser trailer back at E3, we have had very little information about Naughty Dog’s upcoming blockbuster. Thanks to Naughty Dog’s account, we now have a better look at what Nathan Drake will look like in Uncharted 4.

I can’t even remember another upcoming game, it’s so hot.
But games are still being released. Later this week, us Brits are going to see the release of The Last of Us: Remastered. I loved the original and this souped-up version looks absolutely amazing, but I’m not going to be buying it. Read more …
I managed to complete The Last of Us at the weekend, despite pacing myself carefully to try and prolong the excellent story and avoid becoming disenchanted with the mediocre gameplay. I popped in Demon’s Souls for a bit, killed an archdemon, decided I’d prefer something less taxing to unwind with. Tried a bit of Rayman Origins, recently purchased dirt cheap after being wowed by the Rayman Legends trailer at E3. It was certainly easier, but lacked proper depth. I realised that The Last of Us had left me thirsty for more storytelling. I looked to my game collection, my eyes immediately drawn to the PS1-era Final Fantasy games.
Now those were some excellent stories. My mind drifted… I never did get around to finishing X-2, did I? Read more …
