Sony has filed a third trademark for The Last Guardian, following a recent expiry. The trademark was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on March 12th. It is currently pending an approval.
The Last Guardian was originally announced at E3 2009, and was meant to release on the PlayStation 3. Since its announcement, the game has suffered multiple interruptions, including the departures of the producer and executive producer. Team Ico’s founder also left the company. There have been rumours suggesting that the game was moving from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 4.
