Dragon Age: Inquisition EA Access Trial Release Announced

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be available to EA Access members from November 13th. This means members will be able to play the game five days before the official release date. Members will be limited to six hours of gameplay during that period. Any progress made in the trial will carry over to the full game. EA Access members will also get a 10% discount if they purchase Dragon Age: Inquisition from the Xbox One Game Store.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is due to release on November 21st in Europe and November 18th in North America.

Smite Closed Beta Coming Early 2015

The third-person MOBA ‘Smite’ is expected to enter closed beta on Xbox One in early 2015. Developer Hi-Rez Studios revealed the news in a PAX Australia recap .

“We’re working really hard on a console version of Smite, and in the beginning of the year, we’re going to start closed beta for the Xbox One version. We hope to release that in the first half of next year.”

Smite is already available on PC, but it was revealed as an ID Initiative game at Gamescom 2014. Hi-Rez recently launched Australian and New Zealand servers to accommodate the growing player count.

COD: Advanced Warfare Xbox One Suffers Prepaid Code Issues

According to the Xbox support page, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on Xbox One is experiencing issues where users are unable to redeem codes to play the game. Users who have purchased the Advanced Warfare console bundle are also having problems redeeming the enclosed game code. Microsoft is working on the problem and will provide an update soon.

PlayStation 4 users are also experiencing pre-load issues on the console. Sony advises that users should delete all files associated with COD: Advanced Warfare and re-install them.

Rockstar Releasing Grand Theft Auto V Music Collection

Rockstar Games is releasing a music collection for Grand Theft Auto V from December 9th. The Music of Grand Theft Auto will feature 59 tracks from the original soundtrack and only 5000 copies will be released worldwide. The collection will release on both CD and vinyl.

“The CD version comes with a booklet, poster, and “gold brick” usb drive, while folks that scoop that old school vinyl set will get a booklet and poster. If you’re stuck on not getting the gold with the vinyl don’t sweat it, because you’ll get some audible bullion in the form of tunes from A$AP Rocky, Tyler the Creator, Twin Shadow, Wavves, Flying Lotus, and Yeasayer, along with the original score composed by Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, the Alchemist, and Oh No.”

Rockstar is teaming up with Mass Appeal Records for the collection.

Rabbids Invasion Season Pass Detailed

Ubisoft has announced what to expect in the Rabbids Invasion season pass. The season pass contains 15 add-on episodes that are spread over five packs of three. Ubisoft name checked “Super Rabbid”, “Vampire Rabbid,” “Rabbids With Fleas,” “Zombie Rabbid,” and “Rabbid Dreams” as episodes. The first pack will be available to download later this month. Pack 2 will arrive in December, Pack 3 in January, Pack 4 in February and Pack 5 will arrive in March. Ubisoft has not announced a price for the season pass. The packs can be individually purchased outside of the season pass.

Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show is due to release on November 20th in North America. Those in Europe have to wait an extra day for the game, which is due to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360.

Halo 2 Documentary Gets Release Date

The documentary chronicling the remaster of Halo 2 will premiere on October 31st. It will include never-before seen story elements and footage from Halo 2: Anniversary. The film will show us how 343 managed to bring Halo 2 back to life. The Halo 2 documentary will be available for download on Xbox Video from October 31st. Xbox Users can also view the documentary on the Halo Channel from November 11th and users will also be able to catch it on the Xbox Twitch channel.

Halo 2: Anniversary is part of the Master Chief Collection, which is due to release in North America on November 11th.
