Evolution Studios, the team behind PS4 exclusive Driveclub, has experienced an unspecified number of layoffs. Sony issued a statement to Eurogamer, claiming the layoffs were part of a restructuring program. Evolution is developing the game into a service.
Driveclub had an infamous launch. The PlayStation Plus edition of the game has yet to release following multiple delays. Sony has promised on numerous occasions that the free version is planned to eventually release.
