Destiny and Halo developer Bungie filed three trademarks with the United States Patent & Trademark Officer on May 19th.
NeoGAF reports that the first patent was for something called “Eververse” and the second was for “Eververse Trading Co.” The third patent was for a logo which is presumably related to the first two patents.
The descriptions for the patents heavily cite video games and interactive entertainment. They also cover things such as comics, graphic novels, audiobooks and Halloween costumes.
“Eververse Trading Co.” may suggest the implementation of player-to-player item trading in Destiny.
