Electronic Arts have announced Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, following a one-year hiatus. Legendary golfer Tiger Woods has been the cover star for a number of years, but he signed a deal with Zynga Sports 365 back in 2013. McIlroy, who is currently the No. 1 ranked golfer in the world, will be the new cover star when the game releases in June for Xbox One and PS4. It isn’t a numbered entry and it is currently unknown if it will be annualised like the Tiger Woods titles. The upcoming game will utilise the Frostbite Engine, allowing for realistic depictions of real-world courses and new modes and features.
