EA has confirmed Star Wars: Battlefront will be shown off to the public for the first time at next month’s Star Wars celebration. The event is taking place between April 16th-19th. News broke out earlier in the week that EA was attending the event, so it was expected that gameplay would be shown at the event.
“You’ve been patient young Padawans, and soon your patience will be rewarded,”
“We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it.”
A behind-closed-doors trailer for the game was shown off at GDC and received a standing ovation. Star Wars: Battlefront is due to release later this year.
