• Today we’re going to give you more detail on the upcoming Quality of Life update launching alongside the 13 Willow Street rework on July 21st, 2026.
• As mentioned in our recent blogpost, the Quality of Life update itself has been split into two due to the sheer number of fixes & improvements we’ll be implementing. This first update is the bigger of the two, but you can expect the second part in late August.
• The below list focuses on changes and fixes coming with this month’s update while the next update will contain further improvements.
• The character hand animations for grabbing, dropping, moving doors and hovering over interactable or grabbable objects have been removed to speed up gameplay.
• The item drop animation will still play for others in the session, but will not be visible by the Player.
• Cosmetics that are no longer able to be earned will not be visible.
• The camera zoom in the Customisation shop will now focus on the selected part of the character.
• On Sunny Meadows, the Ghost will now only lock the doors to a wing if both it and a player are inside that wing.
• Eye Adaptation will now adjust the lighting quicker when opening and closing the Journal.
