The iconic solo pirate adventure returns with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, a faithful remake of the 2013 game rebuilt on the latest Anvil engine. Sail the Caribbean as Edward Kenway during the Golden Age of Piracy, combining open-world exploration, naval combat, stealth, parkour, and sword fighting. As captain of the Jackdaw, players can attack and board enemy ships, upgrade their vessel, explore islands and settlements, hunt treasure, and take on Assassin Contracts and naval missions. The remake keeps the original story structure while adding new missions and expanded storylines for characters including Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet. Resynced modernizes the original with reworked combat, new parrying mechanics, unrestricted crouching during stealth, and more flexible tailing and eavesdropping missions that can continue through alternate objectives instead of immediately failing. Three recruitable officers join the Jackdaw through new questlines and provide gameplay perks for the ship. The remake also adds dynamic weather, environmental destruction, new sea shanties, pets, and a photo mode. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer mode, keeping the focus on Edward’s pirate journey across the Caribbean.
