01Overview
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is an open-world action RPG developed by Ubisoft Quebec and set in ancient Greece during the Peloponnesian War. Players choose to play as either Alexios or Kassandra, a Spartan mercenary searching for answers about their family and past. The game combines exploration, melee combat, stealth and naval travel across a large recreation of the Greek world. Players can upgrade weapons and armor, unlock new abilities and make dialogue choices that influence relationships and parts of the story. Naval combat returns through the Adrestia, which can be upgraded and used to fight enemy ships across the Aegean Sea. The campaign also includes battles between Athens and Sparta, legendary creatures and a Mercenary system where increasingly dangerous hunters can pursue the player.
