01Overview
Battlefield 4 is a first-person shooter developed by DICE that combines a cinematic single-player campaign with large-scale multiplayer warfare. The campaign follows Sergeant Daniel Recker and Tombstone Squad during a conflict involving the United States, China and Russia. Multiplayer supports infantry combat alongside tanks, helicopters, jets and naval vehicles across large maps. Players choose from Assault, Engineer, Support and Recon classes, each with different weapons and equipment suited to specific battlefield roles. A major feature is Levolution, which allows large environmental events to alter maps during matches, such as collapsing buildings or flooding streets. Commander Mode also lets one player support their team from a tactical overview, while modes including Conquest and Rush emphasize squad coordination and combined-arms combat.
