Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a first-person shooter developed by DICE that combines a story-driven campaign with large-scale multiplayer combat. The single-player story brings back the soldiers of B-Company as they become involved in a mission surrounding a dangerous experimental weapon. Multiplayer mixes infantry combat with tanks, helicopters, ATVs and other vehicles across large destructible maps. The Frostbite-powered Destruction 2.0 system lets players blow holes through walls, collapse buildings and remove cover that would normally protect enemy positions. Players choose from four classes with distinct weapons, gadgets and battlefield roles, while squad play encourages coordinated attacks and revives. Modes such as Rush and Conquest remain the core of the multiplayer experience, with progression unlocking additional weapons, equipment and vehicle upgrades.
