01Overview
Deathloop is a first-person action game developed by Arkane Lyon and set on the island of Blackreef, where the same day repeats in an endless time loop. Players control Colt, an assassin trying to break the cycle by eliminating eight key targets before the day resets. The island is divided into several districts that change depending on the time of day. Players gather information across repeated loops, learning where targets will be and how their routines can be manipulated. Combat combines firearms, stealth and supernatural abilities known as Slabs, giving players multiple ways to approach each objective. Another assassin, Julianna, can invade Colt’s game to hunt him down, either controlled by AI or another player, adding an unpredictable threat to each run.
