01Overview
Escape from Tarkov is a hardcore extraction shooter developed by Battlestate Games. Players enter dangerous raids across the fictional Russian region of Tarkov, searching for weapons, equipment and valuable supplies while trying to reach an extraction point alive. Combat is highly detailed, with realistic weapon handling, ammunition types, armor systems and medical mechanics. Dying during a raid usually means losing most of the gear carried into it, making every encounter a risk. Outside raids, players manage a persistent inventory, complete quests for traders and upgrade their hideout. Different maps offer their own layouts, extraction rules and threats, while AI-controlled enemies and other players make each raid unpredictable. Progression focuses on improving skills, building wealth and gradually gaining access to better equipment.

The game will feature various PvP and PvE game modes, ratings, weapon and gear unlocks and unique features for owners of the main Escape from Tarkov game, like the ability to play as your main profile character.
