01Overview

Fallout Shelter is a free-to-play management simulation game developed by Bethesda Game Studios. Players take control of an underground Vault and are responsible for keeping its growing population alive, productive and reasonably happy. The Vault can be expanded with rooms that generate resources such as food, water and electricity, while Dwellers are assigned jobs based on their SPECIAL stats. Players can equip residents with weapons and outfits, train their abilities and send them into the Wasteland to collect supplies. Random incidents such as fires, Radroach infestations and Raider attacks can disrupt daily life, forcing players to prepare defenses and manage resources carefully. As the Vault grows, new rooms, quests and equipment become available, allowing the settlement to develop into a much larger underground community.
