01Overview
Far Cry 6 is an open-world first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Toronto and set on the fictional Caribbean island of Yara. Players control Dani Rojas, a guerrilla fighter who joins a revolution against dictator Antón Castillo and his regime. The campaign takes place across cities, jungles, farmland and coastal areas that can be explored on foot, horseback or with a wide range of vehicles. Combat combines traditional firearms with improvised Resolver weapons and powerful Supremo backpacks that provide special abilities. Players work with different resistance groups, sabotage military operations, capture checkpoints and gradually weaken Castillo’s control over Yara. Animal companions known as Amigos can also assist during combat and stealth. The full campaign supports two-player online co-op after the introductory section.
