01Overview
Far Cry Primal is an open-world first-person action game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and set in 10,000 BC. Players control Takkar, a Wenja hunter trying to rebuild his scattered tribe in the dangerous land of Oros. The game replaces modern firearms with prehistoric weapons such as bows, spears and clubs, while crafting is used to create equipment from resources gathered in the wild. Takkar can also tame animals including wolves, bears and sabretooth cats, then call them into combat or use them for hunting. Exploration takes place across forests, caves, rivers and snowy regions filled with wildlife and rival tribes. Progression revolves around expanding the Wenja village, recruiting specialists and unlocking new skills that improve hunting, combat and survival.
