01Overview
Fortnite is a free-to-play online game where players can fight to be the last one standing in Battle Royale or create and play custom games through Fortnite Creative. In Battle Royale, up to 100 players drop onto an island, search for weapons, items, and resources, and compete as the Storm gradually reduces the playable area. Fortnite’s defining building system lets players use gathered materials to construct walls, floors, ramps, and other structures during combat. Zero Build offers the same Battle Royale foundation without player-built structures, placing greater emphasis on movement, positioning, and gunplay. Fortnite supports solo and team-based play, with both casual and Ranked Battle Royale options. Matches combine shooting, looting, traversal, vehicles, environmental interactions, and a frequently changing selection of weapons and items. Outside Battle Royale, Creative lets players build their own islands and games directly inside Fortnite, while Unreal Editor for Fortnite provides more advanced creation tools. Players can also discover a large library of community-made experiences covering different genres and rule sets.

Choose your gadget and lock in! Fortnite Ballistic provides unique, Flex gadgets that can alter the outcome of a round. Once you’ve locked in your gadget, add it to your arsenal during the Buy phase of each round and go ballistic. FIRST PERSON, FULL IMPACT Fortnite Ballistic is the first Fortnite mode built using the First Person Camera Mode Device in UEFN. Host a band practice down the beach, grab a bite to eat with others or race through the streets on hover boards. Take on a job, complete tasks to earn some spending money and start living the life in Brick Bay with vehicles, housing and more. Lock in with your squad to secure the Victory Royale!

FORTNITE OG is BACK and here to stay. Drop into Chapter 1 and explore the OG map, collect OG loot, and relive OG gameplay. THE OG OG RETURNS Solos or Squads, drop into battle with Fortnite OG: Chapter 1. Build your way to pure victory in Battle Royale or dominate the Island in a new way with Zero Build. Each Fortnite OG season runs approximately two months, bringing back the legendary loot and features from back in the day. CLASSIC COOL IN THE OG PASS The Fortnite OG Pass features 45 tiers of retro rewards with a modern twist on items and Outfits.
