Forza Horizon is an open-world racing game developed by Playground Games and set around the fictional Horizon Festival in Colorado. Instead of focusing entirely on closed circuits, the game lets players explore public roads, mountain routes and rural areas while moving between events. Progression revolves around earning wristbands, gaining popularity and unlocking increasingly demanding races. Players can collect, upgrade and customize a wide selection of licensed cars, then use them across street races, showcase events and other festival activities. The game combines the driving physics of the Forza Motorsport series with a more relaxed open-world structure.
