01Overview
Forza Horizon 4 is an open-world racing game developed by Playground Games and set across a fictionalized version of Great Britain. Players can freely explore countryside, villages and cities inspired by locations such as Edinburgh, the Scottish Highlands, the Lake District and the Cotswolds. The game’s defining feature is its changing seasonal system. Spring, summer, autumn and winter alter weather, road conditions and parts of the landscape, sometimes opening new routes or changing how particular cars handle. Players can collect, upgrade, tune and customize hundreds of licensed vehicles while competing in road races, dirt events, cross-country challenges and stunt activities. The shared open world also supports online multiplayer, cooperative events and seasonal championships that provide new objectives and rewards.
