Game of Thrones: War for Westeros is a real-time strategy game set across the Seven Kingdoms, where players command one of four factions in a struggle for control of Westeros. House Stark, House Lannister, House Targaryen and the White Walkers each have their own armies, buildings, mechanics and heroes. Battles involve gathering resources, constructing bases, training units and claiming territory while deploying infantry, cavalry, siege engines, giants and dragons. Heroes including Jon Snow, Jaime Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen and the Night King have unique abilities that can directly influence battles. The single-player campaign uses a strategic map divided into territories, with players moving armies across Westeros before entering real-time battles based on locations from the series. The campaign is designed as a replayable conquest rather than a fixed retelling, allowing different factions and heroes to determine who ultimately controls the Iron Throne. Skirmish modes support 1v1, 2v2 and four-player free-for-all matches against other players or bots, while custom games allow players to create their own multiplayer lobbies.
