Battlefield: Bad Company

Battlefield: Bad Company is a first-person shooter developed by DICE and the first Battlefield game built around a full single-player campaign. Players join Preston Marlowe and the soldiers of B-Company, a squad of military misfits who go AWOL after discovering a trail of valuable mercenary gold. The campaign mixes large firefights, vehicle combat and squad-based missions with a more humorous tone than earlier Battlefield games. It was also the first title in the series to use the Frostbite engine, introducing extensive environmental destruction that allows players to blow holes through walls, buildings and defensive positions. Multiplayer retains the series’ focus on large-scale combat with infantry and vehicles. The main Gold Rush mode has attackers destroying objectives while defenders try to stop them across destructible battlefields.
