Crysis 4

Crysis 4 is the working title for the next installment in Crytek’s first-person shooter series. The game was officially announced in January 2022, with Crytek describing it as a new chapter for the franchise and a next-generation shooter. Very little has been revealed about its story or gameplay. Crytek has not confirmed its setting, protagonist, platforms or release date, so details such as the return of the Nanosuit remain unknown. Development was placed on hold during the third quarter of 2024 as Crytek shifted developers toward Hunt: Showdown 1896. The studio confirmed the pause publicly in February 2025, and as of August 2026 it has not announced that active development has resumed.
