Fable

Fable is an action RPG developed by Lionhead Studios and set in the fantasy world of Albion. Players begin as a young orphan and follow their character through adulthood while completing quests, fighting enemies and shaping their reputation. Combat combines melee weapons, ranged attacks and magic, with experience used to improve strength, skill and magical abilities. Equipment, hairstyles, tattoos and clothing provide further customization as the character develops. Choices play a major role throughout the game. Acts of kindness or cruelty affect morality, appearance and how people react to the player, with townsfolk responding through admiration, fear, ridicule or attraction. Marriage, property ownership and other social systems add more ways to influence life outside combat, making character development central to the experience.
