Final Fantasy X

Final Fantasy X is a turn-based role-playing game set in the world of Spira. The story follows Tidus, a blitzball player from the city of Zanarkand who is transported to Spira after his home is attacked by the massive creature known as Sin. He joins summoner Yuna and her guardians on a pilgrimage to defeat Sin, traveling through towns, temples and dangerous wilderness along the way. Battles use the Conditional Turn-Based system, which lets players see the upcoming turn order and switch party members during combat. Each character has distinct abilities and roles, from physical attacks and healing magic to ranged attacks and enemy-specific skills. Character progression is handled through the Sphere Grid, where earned Sphere Levels are used to unlock stat increases, spells and abilities along connected paths. Yuna can also summon powerful aeons after completing trials inside temples across Spira. Outside combat, players can explore settlements, find hidden items, complete optional challenges and play blitzball, an underwater sport with its own teams, matches and player recruitment. Later areas also open access to additional bosses, weapons and side activities.
