01Overview
Forza Horizon 2 is an open-world racing game developed by Playground Games and set across a fictionalized version of southern Europe. Players explore roads inspired by regions of France and Italy while taking part in races, championships, stunts and other driving activities. Progression revolves around travelling between Horizon Festival locations and completing championships across different vehicle classes. More than 200 licensed cars can be collected, upgraded, tuned and customized, with off-road shortcuts allowing races to leave the asphalt and cut across fields and countryside. Dynamic weather and a day-night cycle regularly change driving conditions across the open world. The game also expands its online features with road trips, competitive events and free-roaming multiplayer, allowing players to explore and race together without leaving the main world.
