Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 is a third-person shooter developed by Epic Games and the final chapter of the original Gears trilogy. The story follows Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad as humanity faces both the returning Locust and the rapidly spreading Lambent threat. Combat retains the series’ cover-based shooting, Active Reload system and brutal close-range executions while adding new weapons and larger encounters. The campaign can be played solo or cooperatively with up to four players. Multiplayer includes competitive modes alongside Horde, where teams defend against increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Beast mode reverses the formula by letting players control Locust creatures and attack human defenses. The story focuses on survival, sacrifice and the final attempt to end the conflict on Sera.
