God of War II

God of War II is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and the sequel to the original God of War. After becoming the new God of War, Kratos is betrayed by Zeus, stripped of his power and sent toward the Underworld. The story follows Kratos as he searches for the Sisters of Fate, whose control over time may allow him to undo his defeat and take revenge on Olympus. Along the way, he encounters Titans, gods and creatures drawn from Greek mythology. Combat combines chained-blade attacks, magic, secondary weapons and large finishing moves, while the campaign also includes platforming, puzzles and environmental traversal. Boss battles are a major focus, with several encounters built around the game’s larger scale and mythological setting.
