Hi-Fi Rush

Hi-Fi Rush is a rhythm-action game developed by Tango Gameworks. Players control Chai, a would-be rockstar who becomes the target of a powerful robotics corporation after a malfunctioning procedure leaves a music player fused to his chest. Combat is built around the beat of the soundtrack, with attacks, dodges and special moves becoming more effective when timed to the music. The environment, enemy animations and platforming elements also move in rhythm, making the soundtrack part of the core gameplay rather than a separate mechanic. As Chai fights through different corporate divisions, he gains new abilities and allies that expand both combat and traversal. Boss battles, score-based encounters and increasingly complex rhythm challenges push players to combine timing, positioning and stylish combos.
