Jusant

Jusant is an action-puzzle climbing game developed by Don’t Nod. Players ascend a massive abandoned tower while traveling with Ballast, a small water-like companion that helps reveal parts of the environment and its history. Climbing is the core mechanic, with players using ropes, anchors and stamina management to plan routes up cliffs, ruins and other vertical spaces. Different surfaces and environmental hazards require careful movement rather than fast reflexes. As the climb continues, the tower opens into varied biomes shaped by wind, water and plant life. Exploration reveals notes, objects and traces of the people who once lived there, gradually explaining what happened to the world. The game avoids combat and instead focuses on traversal, environmental puzzles and atmosphere.
