Manor Lords

Manor Lords is a medieval city-building and strategy game developed by Slavic Magic. Players begin with a small settlement and gradually expand it by managing housing, food, trade, production and the needs of a growing population. Construction is organic rather than grid-based, allowing roads, homes and districts to develop around the landscape. Resources move through detailed production chains, while seasonal changes and local supply affect how efficiently a settlement can grow. Territorial expansion can lead to conflict with rival lords, introducing real-time tactical battles where unit positioning, formations and terrain matter. The game draws heavily from late 14th-century Franconia, using historical architecture, agriculture and social structures to give its settlements a more grounded medieval feel.
