Mario Kart World

Mario Kart World is a kart racing game developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch 2. It expands the series with a connected open world where players can drive freely between races, explore different regions and discover activities outside traditional tracks. Races support up to 24 drivers and introduce new movement options such as wall riding, rail grinding and off-road driving. Courses can connect directly into one another, creating longer races that move across different parts of the world. Knockout Tour adds an elimination format where racers pass through checkpoints while the lowest-placed competitors are removed. Free Roam lets players explore without racing, search for collectibles and complete challenges, while Grand Prix and other familiar multiplayer modes retain the competitive structure of earlier Mario Kart games.
