Mount & Blade

Mount & Blade is an open-ended medieval action RPG developed by TaleWorlds Entertainment and set in the fictional land of Calradia. Players create their own character and travel between towns, castles and villages while choosing how to build their reputation and fortune. The game combines strategic army management with real-time combat. Players can recruit troops, trade goods, complete quests and join one of Calradia’s factions, then fight directly on foot or horseback while commanding their soldiers during battles. There is no fixed campaign path, allowing players to work as merchants, mercenaries or vassals before pursuing greater political power. Character skills, equipment and army composition all develop over time, giving each playthrough a different route through Calradia’s ongoing wars.
