Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego and set during the decline of the American frontier. Players control former outlaw John Marston, who is forced by the government to hunt down members of his old gang after his family is taken from him. The game combines third-person gunfights, horseback travel and exploration across towns, deserts and wilderness areas. Dead Eye allows John to slow time and mark targets before firing, giving shootouts a distinctive rhythm. Outside the main story, players can hunt wildlife, play minigames, take on bounties and encounter strangers across the world. The story focuses on John’s attempt to leave his violent past behind as the Old West gives way to a more modern era.
