Sifu

Sifu is a third-person martial arts action game developed by Sloclap. Players control a young Kung Fu fighter seeking revenge against the five people responsible for the death of their family. Combat focuses on timing, positioning and defensive techniques such as parries, dodges and counters. Enemies often attack in groups, forcing players to manage space carefully while using environmental objects and different martial arts combinations to stay in control. A unique aging system ties progression to failure. Each death makes the protagonist older, increasing damage output while reducing maximum health until the run eventually ends. Permanent skills, shortcuts and knowledge gained across attempts help players push deeper into each level and improve their chances against increasingly difficult opponents.
