Spec Ops: The Line

Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person shooter developed by Yager Development. Players control Captain Martin Walker, who leads a three-man Delta Force squad into a sandstorm-ravaged Dubai to locate survivors from the missing 33rd Battalion. Combat combines cover-based shooting, squad commands and environmental hazards, with sand frequently changing how encounters play out. Walker can direct teammates to focus fire, eliminate specific targets or support him during larger firefights. As the mission continues, the story becomes increasingly focused on the psychological and moral consequences of the squad’s actions. What begins as a rescue operation turns into a much darker journey through a collapsing city, forcing Walker to question his orders, his enemies and his own role in the violence around him.
