Splatoon

Splatoon 3 is a third-person action shooter set in the Splatlands, where Inklings and Octolings battle using weapons that fire colorful ink. The main multiplayer mode, Turf War, pits two teams of four against each other to cover as much of the stage as possible in their team’s ink. Players can swim through their own ink to move quickly, refill ammunition and climb inked surfaces. Weapons include shooters, rollers, chargers, splatanas and stringers, supported by sub weapons and special abilities. The single-player campaign, Return of the Mammalians, follows Agent 3 through Alterna while fighting Octarians and investigating the mysterious Fuzzy Ooze. Competitive Anarchy Battles use objective-based modes including Splat Zones, Tower Control, Rainmaker and Clam Blitz, while X Battles provide higher-level ranked competition. Salmon Run lets four players work together against waves of Salmonids, collecting Golden Eggs and fighting powerful bosses. Splatoon 3 also includes recurring Splatfests, Big Run events, Challenges and Tableturf Battle, a turn-based card game based around covering territory.
