Splatoon Raiders

Splatoon Raiders is a single-player-focused action shooter set in the Splatoon universe. Players take the role of a mechanic working alongside Deep Cut as the group explores the mysterious Spirhalite Islands in search of treasure. Raids involve fighting large groups of Salmonids, collecting salvage and searching environments for hidden rewards. Combat uses the series’ familiar ink-based movement and shooting alongside mechanical gadgets that add actions such as powerful charges, high jumps and deployable devices. One member of Deep Cut can accompany the player in an Exploration Bot that assists during combat, detects treasure and can unleash special Showstopper attacks. Salvage collected during raids can be used to craft and upgrade weapons, gadgets and other equipment before returning to the islands. Players can choose between different tanks that provide access to specific gadget sets and adjust their loadout between missions. Tourist, Raider and Survivalist difficulty settings change combat challenge without affecting available loot. Although designed primarily around solo play, up to three additional players can join raids through online multiplayer or local wireless, with player strength automatically adjusted for cooperative sessions.
