Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Remake

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Remake is an upcoming RPG that rebuilds BioWare’s 2003 Star Wars classic for modern platforms. Set around 4,000 years before the films, the story unfolds during a war between the Galactic Republic and the Sith. Players create a custom protagonist, recruit companions and travel between planets while making choices that can push the story toward the light or dark side of the Force. The original game combined party-based combat, dialogue choices and character progression with one of the series’ most important storylines. The remake was announced for PlayStation 5 and PC with updated technology, visuals and features while preserving the original characters and story. Saber Interactive confirmed in March 2026 that the project remains in development, but no release date has been announced.
