Subnautica 2

Subnautica 2 is an underwater survival adventure set on an all-new alien world, developed by Unknown Worlds. Players explore a vast ocean filled with unfamiliar biomes, creatures, resources, and hidden locations while gathering materials needed to survive. Crafting provides tools, equipment, and other technology for reaching deeper areas, while custom bases can be constructed and expanded to provide storage, power, and a safe place to prepare for further exploration. The game can be played alone or through online four-player co-op, allowing up to four players to explore, build, and survive together. Exploration takes players from relatively safe waters into deeper and more dangerous environments where oxygen, available equipment, and hostile wildlife affect how far they can travel. New vehicles and upgrades provide additional ways to reach distant areas and descend further beneath the surface. Players can scan organisms and resources, study the planet’s ecosystem, and uncover ruins and other clues connected to its history. Subnautica 2 retains the series’ focus on underwater exploration, survival, crafting, and base building while adding cooperative multiplayer. The game is currently being expanded through Early Access.
