Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves is an open-world action RPG developed by Kuro Games. Players control Rover, an amnesiac protagonist exploring a post-apocalyptic world while uncovering the truth behind the disaster known as the Lament. Combat is fast and timing-focused, with mechanics such as dodges, counters, parries and character switching playing a major role. Players build teams from different Resonators, each with their own weapons, abilities and combat roles. Defeated creatures can leave behind Echoes that Rover can absorb and equip, granting additional attacks, transformations or passive bonuses. Exploration includes climbing, gliding and traversal tools across large regions filled with quests, bosses and hidden areas, while progression revolves around strengthening characters, weapons and Echo combinations.
