Xenonauts 2

Xenonauts 2 is a turn-based tactical strategy game developed by Goldhawk Interactive. Players lead a global defense organization fighting a technologically superior alien invasion while trying to keep nations committed to the resistance. Ground missions focus on squad-based combat, with soldiers moving through destructible environments, taking cover and using different weapons against increasingly dangerous alien forces. Losses are permanent, making experienced troops especially valuable. Between missions, players build and expand covert bases, research recovered technology, manufacture equipment and manage fighter aircraft used to intercept UFOs. The strategic layer revolves around balancing resources, protecting funding regions and responding to threats across the globe as the invasion escalates.
