Yakuza 0

Yakuza 0 is an action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and a prequel to the Yakuza series. Set in 1988 during Japan’s economic bubble, the story follows Kazuma Kiryu in Tokyo’s Kamurocho district and Goro Majima in Osaka’s Sotenbori district. Both characters become caught in separate criminal conspiracies that gradually connect as the story develops. Combat revolves around fast street fights, with multiple fighting styles that can be switched during battle to suit different enemies and situations. Outside the main story, players can manage businesses, complete side stories and take part in activities such as karaoke, arcade games, gambling and dancing. The dense city districts are filled with optional encounters that balance the game’s serious crime drama with more comedic side content.
