Gran Turismo 7 brings together the core features of the Real Driving Simulator in a racing game built around driving, collecting, tuning, and learning about cars. Players begin with limited credits and a basic vehicle before progressing through the GT Café, where Menu Books introduce new races, manufacturers, and car collections. World Circuits cover both real-world venues and original Gran Turismo tracks, with changing weather and track conditions affecting grip during races. The Licence Centre teaches driving techniques through short challenges, while Missions and Circuit Experiences provide additional tests away from the main progression. Cars can be purchased through Brand Central, Used Cars, and Legend Cars, then modified through the Tuning Shop and GT Auto. Performance parts and setup adjustments allow players to alter how vehicles behave, while the Livery Editor provides detailed visual customization. Sport Mode offers competitive online racing through Daily Races and official championships, while multiplayer also supports more casual races. Scapes provides a separate photography mode for placing collected cars in real-world locations and creating custom images.
